I have nearly $1000 in pickleball shoes, and studied which pickleball shoes female pros including Anna Leigh Waters for my comprehensive review to provide you the best pickleball shoes for women.

First, let’s me provide a summary of the winners by category and then I will provide more information on some of the key best women’s pickleball shoes.

Let’s now discuss the top women’s pickleball shoes in 2026.

2. Best Overall Women’s Pickleball Shoes

The Asics Gel Resolution pickleball shoes are unbelievably good, making them an easy candidate for the top spot. The grip and comfort are spot on, and they make moving side to side feel so smooth.

Another thing I love is that they come in a wide version, which makes them work for more people. Plus, there was zero break-in time. No blisters, no sore spots, just straight comfort right out of the box.

They fit snug in a good way, felt really supportive, and gave me the speed I needed to cover the court. I tried them indoors and outdoors, singles and doubles, and they worked great in every setting.

In addition, I found that Anna Bright which is a top 5 professional pickleball player also wears what I believe are the Asics Gel Resolution 9s.

The only downside is the price as it’s definitely higher than some other options out there.

Finally, I have 2 pair of Asics shoes and the shoes are absolutely fantastic, but they also have a lower cost Asics Gel-Renma pickleball shoe that are one of my favorites. Here’s my review of the lower cost option.

The runner-up shoes are also incredible, and are a new pickleball shoe launched in 2026.

2. Second Place

First off – wow. The The Holbrook By Montis are incredible. I honestly didn’t realize what I was missing until I tried them. Firstly, the fit was a perfect true fit. On the court, there was no break in period and no blisters that I experience with other shoes.

You have two color options, including a white basis with a black logo, and also the black option that I opted for below. Thankfully, Holbrook also has options for both wide and narrow feet.

I tried these shoes in both singles and doubles pickleball, and the shoes excelled in both settings. In singles, I was able to glide around the court effortlessly, given the incredible traction that you can see below.

In doubles, I was able to come to the kitchen effectively while moving laterally quickly. I was able to also start and stop and not slip, even when I was playing with these shoes in rainy conditions.

It was incredible.

Please note that the Holbrook shoes are an investment as even with the discount code, the shoes slot in just over $100.

That said, I thought the shoes were still a great investment given the durability and quality of the build, which is something I have found lacking in other pickleball shoes.

3. Third Place

The Sketcher Viper Court Pro 2.0 pickleball shoes are the shoes that top professional female player Catherine appears to wear. I have a pair of Sketcher pickleballe shoes and wrote a comprehensive review sharing just how special these shoes are.

Catherine was actually named one of the best dressed at the Austin tournament back in March 2024. In that photo, you can clearly see she’s rocking a pair of Skechers pickleball shoes.

Fast forward to 2025, and while the design of her shoes has switched up a bit, she’s still sticking with Skechers.

With that in mind, I wanted to share my own deep-dive review of the Skechers pickleball shoes that I’ve been playing in and honestly, I love them.

Here’s a picture of my Sketcher pickleball shoes where I opted for black.

4. Fourth Place

Anna Leigh Waters (the #1 women player in the world) uses Fila pickleball shoes as you can see in the image below.

I also own a pair of Fila pickleball shoes, and while I would not say that the shoes outperform Sketchers or Asics, the shoes are still definitely worth a consideration.

Right out of the box, I loved the presentation and the fact that these were designed specifically for pickleball, not just repurposed tennis shoes. They felt true to size and comfortable, though a little on the heavier side at 14.8 ounces.

On the court, the shoes delivered a great balance of grip, enough to hold during lateral moves without slowing me down. Even though they felt slightly baggy, I still had the speed I needed for quick transitions, especially in singles play.

As for durability, it’s too early to give a long-term verdict, but the build feels solid enough to hold up well with regular use.

Overall, at this price point, the Fila pickleball shoes punch way above their weight.

5. Babolat Mach 3 Pickleball Shoes

Babolat Mach 3 pickleball shoes are very good, and definitely a top shoe. I didn’t see any top women pickleball players who use these shoes, but these shoes were a top choice for Ben Johns for a while. Here’s what I love about these shoes.

I opted the red, white and blue Babolat Mach 3 pickleball shoes, and the build quality felt solid right out of the box, and they were surprisingly comfortable.

At just 13 ounces, they’re some of the lightest shoes I’ve tried, and I appreciated touches like the Michelin rubber sole that gave them excellent grip. My lateral movement and quick stops felt smooth, and overall the shoes gave me confidence on the court.

That said, when it came to speed, I didn’t feel they were as good as my Asics Gel Resolution or Gel-Renma.

The grip almost felt like it slowed me down a touch when trying to rush to the kitchen line in singles play.

Still, for around $100 on Amazon, these are a solid pair of shoes with good durability that should last several months of regular play.

6. Nike Zoom Pickleball Shoes

The Nike Zoom pickleball shoes felt very tight when I first tried the shoes on, but the shoes have grown on me after a few months. In addition, the top female player I play against at the club wears Nike Zoom shoes.

In addition, Tyra Black, a top female pickleball player sports Nike shoes, but I am not sure whether she opts for the specialized “pickleball” shoes.

Here’s a summary of what I wrote in my Nike Zoom pickleball shoes review.

On the court, they were solid, though I wouldn’t put them above the others here, which I feel have done more to actually improve my game. Still, Nike did a great job with these, especially with their Zoom Air cushioning, grippy outsoles, and breathable design that kept my feet comfortable without blisters.

When it came to play, the shoes gave me good stability and impact protection, and I appreciated the durability of the build. They do weigh a little more at 15.1 ounces, but the extra cushion felt worth it, especially during long sessions.

Price-wise, you’re looking at around $80–$160 depending on the model, but I think they’ll outlast some of my other shoes.

Bottom line: while these didn’t fully replace my top Asics picks, the Nike Zoom shoes are a great option if you want comfort, solid grip, and durability wrapped into a stylish package.

How I Rank Women’s Pickleball Shoes

Here’s how I rank the best pickleball shoes for women:

  1. Comfort & Cushioning
  2. Fit and Sizing Accuracy
  3. Stability and Support
  4. Traction and Grip
  5. Durability
  6. Breathability
  7. Style and Design

Each of these are important. For example, it’s so important how a shoe feels during long play sessions. Shoes with good midsole cushioning, arch support, and pressure distribution reduce fatigue and joint pain.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, finding the best pickleball shoes for women really comes down to what matters most to you such comfort, fit, stability, and durability.

I’ve spent nearly $1,000 testing different pairs, and I’ve also paid close attention to what the top women’s pros are actually wearing.

From Anna Leigh Waters rocking Fila, to Catherine Parenteau staying loyal to Skechers, to Anna Bright playing in Asics, it’s clear that the best players in the world trust different brands depending on what feels right for their game.
