Below I want to cover the best Honolulu paddles in 2026, and also how much each of these paddles are after you use the discount code.
1. Honolulu J6CR Crystal Blue: Best for Power and Reach
The J6CR Crystal Blue is my top Honolulu paddle in 2026. I expected to keep reaching for my J2CR Crystal Blue, but the J6CR surprised me. The first thing I noticed was the extra pop. It took me a few games to adjust my timing, but once I did, I loved how easily I could drive the ball deep and add pace to my serves and returns.
The J6 shape is elongated, so it gives you more reach and leverage than the J2. That is a big advantage when you are stretched wide, playing singles, or looking to attack from the baseline. The tradeoff is that it can feel a little slower in quick hands battles, and I found the J2 shape slightly more forgiving when I was defending or resetting.
The Crystal Blue surface is a huge part of the appeal. It has a gritty feel that grabs the ball, and I have been impressed by how well the surface on my J2CR has held up. The J6CR and J2CR felt very close in spin, but the longer shape on the J6CR gave me a small edge when I wanted to combine a heavier swing with spin.
If you want an aggressive paddle with added reach, power, and spin, the J6CR Crystal Blue is a great place to start. If you want a more balanced shape for doubles, keep reading about the J2CR Crystal Blue below.
Price: $195 before the code, or $175.50 after using PICKLEBALLER20.
2. Honolulu J2CR Crystal Blue: Best All-Court Balance
The J2CR Crystal Blue is still one of my favorite paddles. I love the hybrid shape because it gives me enough reach for my two-handed backhand without feeling too slow at the kitchen. It has a great balance of power, spin, control, and hand speed, which is why I think it works for so many different styles of play.
When I first started playing with it, the power stood out. My serves and returns were reaching the baseline, and I could drive the ball with more pace than I expected. The spin was just as impressive. My knuckle serves, slices, and topspin shots all had a lot of movement, and the gritty Crystal Blue face helped me shape the ball confidently.
What makes the J2CR special for me is that it still feels controlled. I could hit aggressive shots without feeling like I had to guide every ball carefully, and I trusted it on drops, dinks, and resets. It has more power than the J2FC+ while keeping the control I want in doubles. Compared with the J6CR, it feels a little more balanced and comfortable in fast exchanges.
The J6CR and J2CR Crystal Blue are extremely close for me. I would choose the J6CR when I want more reach and offense, especially in singles. For an everyday doubles paddle, I would probably keep the J2CR Crystal Blue in my bag.
Price: $195 before the code, or $175.50 after using PICKLEBALLER20.
3. Honolulu J2FC+: Best for Touch and a Plush Feel
The J2FC+ is one of the easiest Honolulu paddles for me to recommend to players who value control and a softer feel. The ball seems to stay on the face a little longer, which gives me a connected, plush response on dinks, drops, and resets. I like how it lets me slow the game down without feeling underpowered when I decide to speed up.
The J2FC+ uses Honolulu’s hybrid shape, so it has a nice mix of reach, forgiveness, and quick hands. Compared with the J2NF, I find the J2FC+ smoother and more cushioned. The J2NF feels firmer and more immediate off the face, while the FC+ gives me a little more confidence on touch shots.
This would be my pick for a player who wants a balanced paddle and puts a premium on consistency at the kitchen. It still has plenty of power and spin, but it does not feel as jumpy as the more aggressive options in this list. If you want a paddle that feels comfortable during long dink exchanges and gives you a dependable response on resets, the J2FC+ is worth a look.
Price: $195 before the code, or $175.50 after using PICKLEBALLER20.
4. Honolulu J2NF: Best for a Firmer, More Explosive Response
The J2NF is a strong all-court paddle, and it has been one of my favorite Honolulu paddles to play with. I felt confident with it from the baseline and at the kitchen. It gave me easy power on forehands and backhands, and I could create heavy spin on serves, slices, and topspin shots.
Compared with the J2FC+, the J2NF feels firmer and more direct. I noticed a quicker, snappier response when I attacked the ball, and it had the extra pop I wanted when driving or speeding up. The J2FC+ feels softer and more plush, so I would choose between them based on what you prefer: a crisp, lively response or a smoother touch feel.
I have also compared the J2NF with the J2K. The J2NF felt like a step up for me in control, power, and spin. The J2K still offers a lot of value, but if your budget allows it, I would personally spend the extra amount for the J2NF.
If you are shopping for a hybrid paddle that can do a little bit of everything and you like a firmer feel, the J2NF is a great option. If touch and a softer response matter most, look at the J2FC+.
Price: $195 before the code, or $175.50 after using PICKLEBALLER20.
5. Honolulu J2K: Best Value
The J2K rounds out my list because it gives you a lot of paddle for the price. It has Honolulu’s Aero Hybrid Plus shape and a Kevlar face, and it is a solid option if you want to try the brand without spending as much as you would on the newer foam paddles.
In my head-to-head testing, I preferred the J2NF. The J2NF gave me more confidence with power, spin, and control. Still, the J2K is a good value, and the gap in price makes it worth considering if you are working with a tighter budget. It has a comfortable hybrid shape, a large sweet spot, and a balanced feel that can work for a lot of players.
The J2K was a standout paddle when it first came out, and it remains a good choice for players who want an affordable all-court paddle. If you are deciding between it and the J2NF, I would choose the J2NF for performance and the J2K for value.
Price: $155 before the code, or $139.50 after using PICKLEBALLER20.
