I have loved the J2CR Crystal Blue, but I wanted to compete the paddle again the Six Zero Coral, the new Selkirk Onni, the Chorus Coda with Harmony Grit, and the Enhance Duo to see if I still loved it the most.

Each of these paddles are premium paddles, and I really like the playability of each one, but I wanted to do the best job I can reviewing it for you if you’re considering one of these paddles.
Let’s start with first impressions, the playability differences, the cost considerations before and after discount codes, and which paddle should you choose?
First Impressions
Let’s talk grit first.
The biggest thing I wanted to first compare was the grit of these different paddles. The Honolulu J2CR has the new crystal blue endurance grit, which is supposed to last much longer. It definitely felt the grittiest of these paddles.

I know that the Chorus Coda has the new harmony grit, and it definitely was good, which reminded me a lot of the new RPM V2 and Q2.

The Selkirk Omni’s grit is also upgraded, and felt premium.

Both the Enhance Duo and the Six Zero Coral felt someone middle of the pack in terms of the grittiness of the paddle.

Next, let me share other subtle differences between these paddles.
Firstly, I love the stock grip on the Six Zero Coral. It almost feels like it has an overgrip without actually having an overgrip.
Next, the Chorus Coda felt a bit head heavy upfront. That’s not a bad thing whatsoever, but just one thing I noticed right away.
Let’s talk about playability next as that’s the most important thing.
Playability
Playability had quite a few similarities as many of these are all-court or control focused paddles. I know the Enhanced Duo is quoted as a power paddle, but it’s more of a controlled power. This is what made this comparison really tricky, so I hope I don’t butcher it.
Power
I played with the Selkirk Omni this morning, and the power is still just insane. I know it’s an all court paddle, but I don’t notice that much of a difference between the Omni and Boomstick power. That said, I do believe that the Boomstick has a slightly higher sweet spot given the internal build.
In our first game, we went up like 9-0, and I was just able to put away shots faster than with my other paddles.
That said, the J2CR Crystal Blue has also great power, which was one of my biggest complaints with the J2FC+ that I see such an improvement in with the J2CR Crystal Blue. That said, my last game with the Crystal Blue I saw more pop-ups than usual when compared to the Duo.
The Coda and Duo both have decent power, and the Coral I would argue has good power for a control paddle, but I would say it’s fifth place in the bunch.
Here’s my ranking:
- Selkirk Omni
- Honolulu J2CR Crystal Blue
- Chorus Coda
- Enhance Duo
- Six Zero Coral
Control
These are all really nice control paddles, so even the 5th rank to the Duo does not mean that it’s not good in control. It’s excellent in control, especially in comparison to paddles like the B2B Loco or the Luzz Tornazo or the Joola Pro IV.
The Coral was the clear winner here. It’s got the best control of any paddle out there on the market in my opinion, even more than the J2FC+. You just get so much forgiveness when running to the net or chasing down balls. The paddle just grabs the ball in a way I haven’t seen with many other paddles.
The Coda was also a great control paddle option. I saw this when doing drips running from the baseline, and also on out of position, backhanded drops.
The Omni is also a great control paddle. Like I said previously, I have had my best drops into the kitchen and more consistently than any other paddle with the Omni.
Here’s my ranking:
- Six Zero Coral
- Honolulu J2CR Crystal Blue
- Chorus Coda
- Selkirk Omni
- Enhance Duo
Spin
The new Honolulu J2CR blue grit surface is one of the grittiest surfaces I’ve seen, and the only competition I would say is the Vapor Power 2. The spin is absolutely insane, and I have seen very little degradation of that spin profile after many sessions.
The Selkirk Omni’s infinigrip also provides a nice spin profile on the ball. I was seeing that most with side spin serves, but also on my top spins.
I probably had the most aces in any game recently with the new Chorus Coda. The spin on my serves were just way better than many of my other paddles, and the paddle weight distribution provides that feel that can just spin that ball.
I would say that the Coral and Duo both have decent spin, but I wouldn’t call it elite spin.
Here’s my ranking:
- Honolulu J2CR Crystal Blue
- Selkirk Omni
- Chorus Coda
- Six Zero Coral
- Enhance Duo
Cost Considerations
The cost of these paddles have a large range, so let’s discuss that next.
The least expensive is actually the J2CR Crystal Blue, which is $195 before discount code, and that price goes down to around $175 after discount code. I would say that’s a tremendous value.
~$20 Discount Code: PICKLEBALLER20
The Enhance Duo is $174.99 before the discount code, but you can use the discount code BEPICKLEBALLER and get $20 off this paddle reducing the paddle to $154.99.
$20 Bonus Bucks Code: BEPICKLEBALLER
The Selkirk Omni is $300, and you can use the code INF-PBALLER which provides $30 bonus bucks back that can be used similar to a gift card.
$30 Bonus Bucks Code: INF-PBALLER
The Chorus Coda is $157.99 to $199.99 depending on the model you select, and you can actually stack the discount code BEPICKLEBALLER to get an additional ~$15 to $20 off, getting some of the models down to $142.00 which is a huge deal.

The Six Zero Coral is $200, but with the discount code below, the paddle’s price comes down to $180.00
10% Off Discount Code: PICKLEBALLER10
Each of these paddles are premium paddles, and there’s quite the range of $125 between each of these paddles.
Which Paddle Should You Choose?
It feels impossible for me to pick a favorite out of this line up as each of these are top tier paddles. That said, the Honolulu J2CR Crystal Blue is just $175 after the coupon code, so that’s a ridiculous value given how well it plays.
The Selkirk Omni is a beast. It may have slightly less pop than the Boomstick, but you still get so much power with this paddle. That said, it’s $300, so that’s a steep cost.
I was so surprised at how much I loved the Chorus Coda. I had not heard of the brand before, and it felt just naturally like a premium paddle. The spin and power and control were all top tier in my opinion.
I believe the Six Zero could be the dethroner of the J2FC+ of the best control paddle. I get such forgiveness with the paddle, and I let someone use it recently that usually mains the Joola Pro IV and he couldn’t stop raving about it.
Finally, the Enhance Duo is my favorite of the Enhance paddles. It has really nice control, but also has good power. It’s the sleeper pick of the bunch.
