The Six Zero Coral got on my radar in a major way. That said, the Six Zero Double Black Diamond was a massively hyped paddle, but I was not impressed. So, I purchased the Coral wanting something more from the 6.0 brand.
I was NOT disappointed.
The paddle is incredible, but how does it compare to the BNB Loco and the J2NF? These are very different paddles, so let’s discuss Six Zero Coral first impressions, my Six Zero vs BNB Loco vs J2NF review, cost considerations and which should you choose.
First Impressions
The Six Zero made a great first impression right out of the bag with the paddle cover. I always appreciate when brands provide a nice cover, and the 6.0 paddle cover is really nice.

Secondly, I loved the overall look. The paddle has these little designs along the paddle, and the grit is solid. Also, I would argue that this paddle has top 5 standard grip. I may not have to put an overgrip on.

Six Zero Coral Vs BNB Loco vs J2NF Playability
Control
The Six Zero Coral provides insane control. It provides such good control that I was competing this paddle against the J2FC+ on Friday, which I argue is the best control paddle ever. Early on, I would say that the Six Zero Coral is the only main competitor to the J2FC+.
That said, the Honolulu J2NF has good overall control, but it’s a bit more balanced.
Let’s cut straight to it – you need soft hands for the Loco. The paddle has a ton of power, but it’s difficult to control. I kept hitting long balls without much effort.
Here’s the ranking:
- Six Zero Coral
- Honolulu J2NF
- BNB Loco
Spin
The Six Zero Coral, J2NF and Loco all provide a really great spin profile.
The Loco generates RPM between 2200-2400, the J2NF between 2100-2300 and the Six Zero Coral between 1800-2100.
So, each of these paddle really do generate a great spin profile. You may get more spin with the Loco, but again, you will see that it’s more difficult to control this paddle.

Here’s the ranking:
- BNB Loco
- Honolulu J2NF
- Six Zero Coral
Power
The BNB Loco is “loco”. The paddle has insane power, and I would argue it has similar power to the Joola Perseus Pro IV and the Selkirk Boomstick. When I started playing with the Loco, I had trouble getting serves in. That said, once I got my serves in, you really do get a lot of force and power on drives, serves, and drips.
I’d argue that the J2NF is a power paddle as well, but it’s definitely a more controlled paddle. It provides more forgiveness than the Loco.
Finally the Six Zero Coral has a lot of power, but it’s more of a control paddle than a power paddle.
Here’s the ranking:
- BNB Loco
- Honolulu J2NF
- Six Zero Coral
The BNB Loco is the winner of the power category.
Cost Considerations
The biggest thing that is similar with these paddles may be the price. Thankfully, I was able to secure discount codes that will reduce the cost for all my readers.
Let’s start with the Coral.
The Six Zero Coral is priced at $200, but with the code BEPICKLEBALLER, you can get this paddle for about 10% off, so the paddle goes down to $180.00
I would argue this is a great value for a premium paddle.
10% Off Discount Code: BEPICKLEBALLER
The Honolulu J2NF is $195, and with the code PICKLEBALLER20, the paddle comes down to around $175, making this the least expensive paddle of the bunch, but not by much. I appreciate that the paddle also comes with a nice cover with a clip.

You can’t purchase the Honolulu J2NF on Amazon, but it’s okay as I believe my paddle came in 2-3 days.
~$20 Off Discount Code: PICKLEBALLER20
Finally, the BNB Loco is priced at $199.00 before the discount code BEPICKLEBALLER which takes this paddle down to $179.10.
Please note that this paddle is often sold out, and you cannot purchase this paddle on Amazon either.

Which Should You Choose?
Each of these paddles are top, premium paddles, but the playability differences are clear. Let’s go through each one and which I would choose.
If you are a raw power player, choose the BNB Loco. The paddle takes soft hands and some getting used to, but the paddle is a true power paddle, definitely for singles players and aggressive doubles players.
If you are a control and spin player, choose the Six Zero Coral. The paddle provides a great dwell time, sweet spot, and a ton of forgiveness. I saw it immediately on running dinks. The paddle provides amazing control, similar to the J2FC+.
If you want a great all around paddle, choose the J2NF. The paddle has more power than the Six Zero coral in my opinion, but also has great spin and control.
