I played with the Selkirk Boomstick on Tuesday, so I was ecstatic to hear that the Selkirk Omni was just announced on 4 different YouTube shorts, and I wanted to provide all of the information that I gleaned from these reviews and share what we know thus far. For example, the Selkirk Omni’s release date is June 2, 2026.
Also, the type of the Selkirk Omni’s hint is in the name.
Later I’ll also share the YouTube shorts, so you can watch them for yourselves.
I’ll plan to get my hands on one of these paddles in the first release, and update the review with my playability statistics, but let me explain what I know
First Impressions
Based on what we know from the shorts, you can get the Selkirk Omni in 3 different colors. Here are the 3 different colors you can choose. I really like the different color combinations here – personally, I’d probably go with the classic black and white, but it’s great to have options.

Secondly, you can see that these paddles have the MOI Tuning System similar to the Boomstick, but let’s discuss how this paddle how this paddle will compare to the Boomstick.
Selkirk Omni vs Boomstick
The word Omni means “all”, so that’s a hint around the type of paddle.
From the shorts, you can see that Selkirk Omni will be an all-court paddle while the Selkirk Boomstick is a traditional power paddle. This is huge news that this is going to be a new category of their paddle instead of a Boomstick 2.
I love that Selkirk is going the all-court option as when I compared the Selkirk Boomstick to the Joola Perseus IV back in 2025, I definitely felt that power of the Boomstick could be harder to control.

That said, when I compared the Selkirk Boomstick this week against the Aura Pro, I felt that the Boomstick had amazing power, and the Paddle’s weight distribution of the paddle almost made me feel that it allowed softer hands easier than other paddles.
So, it’s clear that the Boomstick is a boomer paddle, and the new Selkirk Omni will be an all-court paddle, but let’s look at the shorts next.
Watch The YouTube Shorts
There are so few YouTube videos covering the Selkirk Omni, but it does appear that Selkirk chose a few pickleball influencers to tell the current story of the paddle with a very limited narrative. I watched one YouTube interview where the podcaster almost appeared to say “I am sca…” to reference that he may be scared to release more information than that it’s an all court paddle.
Here are the Selkirk Omni shorts from most views to least. The official Selkirk Omni teaser is at the bottom.
