I love trying new pickleball shoes and now have around 15 pairs, so I was very excited to try the new Selkirk CourtStrike 3.0 pickleball shoes and then compare them to my Selkirk Legacy Pro Pickleball shoes.
Both shoes did not disappoint, but the shoes are quite different, so let me share first impressions, how the shoes played, cost considerations and how you can use the code INF-PBALLER for $20 bonus bucks and which shoes I would choose.
First Impressions
The Selkirk Courtstrike 3.0 were just released on June 2025. Here’s the first look inside the box.

I got the blue and orange version. Overall, the shoes felt very snug.

What I love most about all Selkirk products is the warranty. For these shoes, you get a six month sole warranty. That’s unheard of in terms of shoe warranties from what I’ve seen.

Let’s look at the Selkirk Legacy Pro pickleball shoes next. Here’s the first look inside the box.

Here’s the side view. I got the white and green version, and I love how these shoes look. I got many compliments as well, so I have actually just worn these out just for fun.

In terms of comfort, I would say that the Selkirk CourtStrike 3.0 were slightly more comfortable. The shoes felt a bit more breathable, and flexible, making them easy to run around in on the court.
I would also say that these shoes are true to size, and my feet are 11.5 narrow, so they felt snug right away, which I appreciated.
Let’s talk about how these shoes played on the court.
How The Shoes Played On The Court
When reviewing pickleball shoes, I care most about durability, grip, and how easily I can move around the court.
CourtStrike 3.0’s Playability
On the court, you immediately feel that the Selkirk CourtStrike 3.0 shoes feel a bit lighter and cooler than the the Selkirk Legacy Pros. I wouldn’t say that the Selkirk Legacy Pros are necessarily heavy, but they feel slightly heavier than the Courtstrike 3.0s.
I played my first games with the CourtStrike 3.0 at Poinsettia Park’s challenge courts in San Diego. I noticed how fast I could move with these shoes and how I was able to speed up and slow down as needed. I would thank the impressive grip on these shoes that helped immediately.
Check out the grip of the Selkirk CourtStrike 3.0s. It’s impressive, and reminds me a lot of premium basketball shoes.

The shoes are also great for lateral movements, and running to the kitchen. The shoes are light, but also snug on the feet making them really a fun shoe to run around with.
Legacy Pro’s Playability
Let’s talk about the Selkirk Legacy Pros, which are one of the best pickleball shoes you can buy.
When I first stepped onto the court, it was immediately clear that these weren’t just regular court shoes with a pickleball label added to them. They feel designed specifically for the quick lateral movements, sudden stops, and constant direction changes that happen during a pickleball game.
One of the biggest highlights is Selkirk’s InfiniGrip outsole. The traction felt controlled and predictable, whether I was pushing off for a wide forehand, stopping quickly at the kitchen line, or trying to recover after getting pulled out of position.
Here’s the grip on the Selkirk Legacy Pro pickleball shoes. These are also nice.

What I liked most was that the outsole didn’t feel overly sticky or restrictive. It gave me enough grip to feel secure, while still allowing me to move naturally around the court. As the shoes broke in, they also seemed to feel more connected to the playing surface.
Durability has been solid so far. I’ve worn them for quite a few sessions, and I haven’t noticed any major wear or performance issues. 6 months ago, I wouldn’t have been able to say this, but I have been really excited with the durability.
Let’s talk about cost and discount codes.
Cost Considerations
The Selkirk CourtStrike 3.0s are $127.99 for both the men’s and women’s shoes before the discount code. You can use the discount code INF-PBALLER and get $20 bonus bucks on your purchase, which work similar to a gift card.. There are 5 different colors you can choose, and sizes range from 7 to 14.

$20 Bonus Bucks Code: INF-PBALLER
Would I Choose Selkirk Courtstrike 3.0 or Selkirk Legacy Pros?
Both shoes are excellent, but I would personally grab the new Selkirk Courtstrike 3.0’s more often than the Selkirk Legacy Pros. I absolutely love how easy it was to manuever with these shoes.
In addition, you could really feel how these shoes move with you on the court, and were a huge assets whether I was speeding up to the kitchen or pivoting around the court.
The Selkirk Legacy Pros are also great shoes. I love the grip on the bottom of these shoes, and use these shoes often. The shoes’ durability is impressive, and the shoes didn’t feel over sticky or restrictive.
