Have you ever played with a pickleball paddle, and just felt that it was a step above the competition? That is what I felt like the first time I played with the Pekzen.
I have played with all three of the paddles in the Pekzen one series, and to be honest, I am impressed with each of the paddles.
How impressed?
I have still not a game with these paddles. Yes, that’s correct, I am still undefeated with these paddles after playing around 5 games.

Unboxing Experience
One of my favorite parts of testing and reviewing new paddles is the unboxing experience. The Pekzen one series did not disappoint.

The Pekzen One Paddle Series
The Pekzen One series is the brand’s first paddle series. The team is made up of a blend of mechanical & aerospace engineers, intelligent automated production engineers, and strength training enthusiasts.
That’s incredible. Aerospace engineers?
I can 100% understand how this brand has already became a force in the space, considering that the team is made up of all stars!
Let’s talk about the most important piece which is the playability.
Playability
As I stated earlier, I am still undefeated playing with the PekZen brand, playing against very competitive players.
And, I believe that this is because of the quality of the paddle, and what’s fun about this paddle series is that each of the paddles can be great for spin, power, or control.
Spin
In my opinion, the PekZen One-002 paddle was the best paddle for spin. This paddle’s unique design reminders me of other premium paddles that I own.
I really appreciated the grit on the paddle that allowed me to use the paddle to grip the ball and then spin it.
In addition, when playing, I like to put a side spin on my serve, the 002 paddle did this perfectly.
Control
In addition, each of these paddles provided an awesome amount of control. I would say that both the 001, 002 and 003 paddles all provided great control.
The paddles are all 16mm, which is fantastic for control. As a refresh, when comparing 14mm vs 16mm pickleball paddles, 14mm is often better for power and 16mm is often better for control.
Each of these paddles in this series had amazing control allowing me to put the ball where I needed the ball to be.
Power
I believe that the PekZen One-001 or One-003 pickleball paddle had the best power paddle in my opinion.
I loved both paddles, if I was goig for a sole power paddle, I would opt foe the 003 paddle. In addition, this paddle also has an elongated handle that allows powerful 2-handed backhands.
Okay, this paddle is fantastic, but I also love the company’s mission, so let’s cover this next.
