I have purchased ~30 pickleball paddles on Amazon (picture of my receipts here), so I decided it was time to write an article covering the best pickleball paddles on Amazon.
After I share the best pickleball paddle and budget paddle on Amazon, stick around as I provide 3 crucial things you need to know including: 1) Paddle become unavailable quickly 2) Amazon reviews may be fake 3) Some brands may sell the same paddle for different prices.
1. Top Rated Amazon Pickleball Paddle
The best pickleball paddle on Amazon is the Ben Johns Joola Hyperion CFS 16mm as it is often priced below other paddles that do not command the same quality of this paddle.
Of all my ~50 pickleball paddles, this paddle has the best sweet spot, and pop.
This paddle is one of the first premium paddles I purchased after I found out that Ben Johns played with this paddle before moving to the new Perseus 3s.

Let me share what else makes it stand out:
- It has a perforated anti-slip ridge grip and an elongated handle, which really helps with shock absorption. I find it ideal for two-handed shots.
- The Carbon Friction Surface (CFS) technology uses an advanced Carbon-Flex5 textured surface, making it fantastic for spin.
- The aero-curve design improves swing speed and reduces drag—something I noticed right away during gameplay.
- The carbon-forged handle adds both power and comfort, which makes it feel solid and reliable in my hand.
- Its Hyperform edge wall increases stability and enhances the sweet spot—I 100% agree with that claim!
- The specially tuned reactive honeycomb core ensures consistent bounce, which is key for precise shots.
At the time I’m writing this, the Joola Ben Johns Hyperion CFS 16mm is $120 cheaper than the Perseus 3s, making it an even better deal.
Please note that there are many paddles that look the same on Amazon, so I included the link below.
2. Best Budget Amazon Pickleball Paddle
I’ve really loved the control I get with this paddle. Last week, I wanted to test how effective it really is by playing a few games with a friend who has about a 4.0 DUPR rating.
In the first game, I used a cheap $10 Amazon pickleball paddle and lost 11-6. Not a great start.
For game two, I switched to an $80 Amazon carbon fiber weave paddle and barely scraped by with a 12-10 win.
Then, in game three, I pulled out my favorite paddle which I mentioned above: The Joola Ben Johns Hyperion CFS (which runs around $150-$200). That one felt better, and I won 11-8.
Finally, for game four, I tried this Doctor Surgical Control pickleball paddle, and had my best performance of the day. I won 11-3.
With this paddle, I felt completely in control of my shots. The gritty surface grips the ball well, and the 20mm thickness gives me the precision I need to place my shots exactly where I want them. Because it’s a thicker paddle, it does have a slightly thicker grip, so it may be best for medium to larger hands.
This paddle is in the $50 – $80 range, so you can check the updated price below.
Check this paddle’s awesome design, including a picture showing the amazing 20mm thickness of this paddle.

Here’s a picture of the side view.

When competing the Doctor Pickleball paddle against the runner up paddle, I played much better with the Doctor pickleball paddle, which is why I ranked this in the #1 version.
3. Runner Up Budget Amazon Pickleball Paddle
It took me a while to discover this Amazon paddle, but I found the best overall budget pickleball paddle. It’s from a brand with a pretty unusual name (PBVMURTG), but trust me that it’s an absolute steal.
You might think I’m exaggerating, but hear me out. Earlier this year, I played against a friend who’s solidly in the 4.0–4.5 DUPR range.
I used my $200 paddle for the first three games, and he crushed me every single time. Frustrated, I decided to switch things up and gave this PBVMURTG paddle a try in game four. To my surprise, I won 11-3. I was genuinely shocked at how much of a difference it made.
Here’s the kicker – the PBVMURTG paddle is currently priced under $50 on Amazon. What’s even crazier is that it’s made of carbon fiber, comes with a paddle cover, grip tape, and even a carbon fiber cleaning bar. It feels like a deal too good to be true. Honestly, I don’t think this price will last long.
I liked it so much that I ended up writing an entire review about my experience with it. I’m still scratching my head over how this brand manages to sell such a high-quality paddle for under $50.
Oh, and a quick note, if you decide to buy this paddle using the link below, it supports this site, and I’ll earn about $1.31. That helps me keep writing honest reviews, but don’t feel obligated to use it.
Here’s the unboxing experience where you get quite a few of other nifty items.

Let’s next cover the best super cheap paddle.
4. Best Cheap Pickleball Paddle
I just received this paddle recently, and it has quickly climbed to the rank of best super cheap pickleball paddle.
Firstly, this paddle was recently under $5, after a $5 discount was applied. As of the time of this writing, the paddle is still under $10 with a 30% discount.
The paddle is actually a carbon fiber paddle, which I believe is the best pickleball paddle material. It also has a 4.6 rating on Amazon.

As I mention below, I would not be surprised if this paddle gets sold out soon, and becomes quickly unavailable. Here’s the link if you want to check it out.
If/when this paddle is unavailable, check out this search for cheap pickleball paddles under $15 with a 4.0+ rating.
Let’s look at the best runner-up pickleball paddle on Amazon.
5. Runner Up Best Pickleball Paddle on Amazon
The Vatic Pro Prism Flash is one of my favorite paddles ever.
In fact, I liked the paddle so much that I purchased both the Vatic Pro Prism Flash 14mm and 16mm paddle.

The 14mm provides an incredible amount of power, and the 16mm provides great control and spin. It’s just a very high quality paddle for under $100.
In addition, I have seen that this paddle is actually lower on Amazon than on its own website. So, if you want this paddle, you may consider checking Amazon and their website using the code: bepickleballer which can take off $10 off your apddle price.

3 Crucial Things To Know About Amazon Pickleball Paddles
Let’s go through 3 things you really need to know.
A. Paddle often become unavailable quickly
I have seen this happen too many times. I find a great, inexpensive paddle, and share with my readers, only to find the same paddle unavailable.
For example, I purchased this amazing Carbon Fiber paddle for $11.99, so I knew this would happen, so I purchased 4 more right afterwards.

Sure enough, a few days later, this pickleball paddle was sold out and unavailable.

Next, you need to understand a lot about the brands on Amazon.
B. Some Amazon Reviews May Be Fake
I recently found the JoJoLemon paddle on Amazon that was around $99.99 with an incredible 4.8 rating based on over 100 reviews.
The paddle looked earily familiar to the Vatic Pro Prism Flash, one of my favorite paddles.
So, I performed a deep analysis and wrote this JoJoLemon paddle review to find that the company would refund your purchase on Amazon if you gave it a 5 star rating. Check out this email I received about the process:

Finally, let’s talk about odd brand issues
C. Brands apparently use the same paddles as other brands at different prices.
Finally, you need to know that many different companies may sell the exact same brand, but for different prices.
For example, I wanted to test really cheap paddles, so I purchased the 2 MAK paddles below for around $12.00, but the YXHIZCQ paddles for around $20.

Conclusion
You can find amazing high value pickleball paddles on Amazon, and hopefully one of these 4 paddles will provide exactly what you are looking for.
In addition, consider that paddles on Amazon often become unavailable, reviews may be fake, and that some brands may sell the same paddle with different brands.
