I write articles because I love pickleball, but I do have links on this website that helps me not add annoying ads on the website and keep the lights on.
As someone who owns around 50 pickleball paddles (and loves making unboxing videos), multiple pickleball paddles nets, and tons and tons of pickleball memorabilia, I wanted to share my learnings of the best gift ideas for pickleball players in 2024.
For this pickleball gifts article, I wanted to break out the different gift options by price points, so you can click on the option below to get teleported to the appropriate section. Also, I do want to let you know that some links are affiliate links, meaning I get a small payment if you purchase through the link. There’s no expectations to use the link, but it’s always appreciated if you do.
Each section contains men, women, and retired players. Let’s be honest – I see a lot elderly moms, dads, and grandparents out there on the courts.
- $25 and under gifts
- $50 and under pickleball gifts
- $100 and under pickleball gifts
- $200 and under pickleball gifts
- No Limit (just for fun)
And yes, here’s a picture of me earlier surrounded by too many of my paddles. And to think I probably have 25 more paddles since that picture earlier in 2024.
Let’s get started.
1. $25 and under gifts
Men
- “Pickleballer” water bottle.
Yes, it has the same name as my website (no affiliate), but it’s a great website name, right? Well this pickleball water bottle looks similar to a yeti, and I firmly believe the design is really top notch.
I have way too many water bottles, but I am really tempted to buy this one to add to my collection.
2. Pickleball wristband and matching clothes sock
I sweat profusely in my games. Just this past week, I played a match with a friend and so wished I had remembered to pack my wristband.
So, a pickleball wristband is another great gift, especially for players who sweat a lot during games. They help keep sweat out of his eyes and off his hands, which can be a real game-changer in those intense rallies. Wristbands are an inexpensive but thoughtful gift that shows you’re thinking about his comfort and performance on the court.
3. Pickleball T-shirt with a fun slogan
One of the things I do every year at my company for Christmas is purchase a shirt off of the $6 shirts website that has a funny slogan. I try to think of something that is unique to each individual.
For example, for my friend who likes camping, I gave him a shirt that says, “camping is in tents”. Silly, I know.
That said, a pickleball t shirt is a simple but effective gift for any pickleball player. It lets him show off his passion for the sport while staying comfortable. Whether it’s a humorous saying or a bold graphic, it’s something he can wear both on and off the court. Plus, it’s a practical choice that will get plenty of use during practice sessions or casual games.
Women
1. Stylish Visor
A visor is both practical and fashionable. I see a lot of women playing with these on the courts.
It helps keep the sun out of her eyes during outdoor games while adding a bit of style to her pickleball outfit. Visors are lightweight and breathable, making them ideal for hot days on the court. This gift is not only functional but also something she can wear with pride.
2. Pickleball socks
Everyone wears socks playing pickleball.
Find a pair that provides extra cushioning which is perfect for players who spend a lot of time on the court. These socks provide additional comfort and support, which is especially important during long matches. The cushioning helps reduce foot fatigue, making every step feel a little lighter. It’s a small, thoughtful gift that any pickleball player will appreciate.
3. Personalized Pickleball Keychain
I have too many keychains to count. A pickleball keychain is a small but thoughtful gift. It’s a way for her to carry her love for the sport wherever she goes. You can even get the keychain customized with her name or initials, making it a truly unique present. It’s a great little keepsake that she’ll enjoy every time she picks up her keys.
In my opinion, Etsy has the best options for personalized keychains.
Retired Players
1. Pickleball-themed coffee mug
I drink coffee every single day. Most often, I am drinking out of a mug that one of my little daughters made me.
That said, a pickleball mug is a fun way to bring a little pickleball into their daily routine. Whether they’re sipping coffee before a game or enjoying tea in the afternoon, this mug serves as a reminder of their favorite sport. It’s a lighthearted gift that combines function with a bit of fun, perfect for any retired pickleball player.
2. Personalized Pickleball Towel
Yes, a pickleball towel is more of a practical gift.
That said, it’s perfect for a quick refresh between sets, helping them stay cool and comfortable. Whether they’re wiping away sweat or drying off after a match, this towel is a simple yet useful addition to their pickleball gear.
3. Pickleball rulebook
I am almost 40, and I still am learning rules after playing for so long.
So, a rulebook is an excellent gift. It’s a handy reference tool that they can use to quickly look up any rules they’re unsure about. Whether they’re learning the ropes or just want to brush up on the finer points, this rulebook is a practical and thoughtful gift that will help them enjoy the game even more.
2. $50 and under pickleball gifts
Firstly, before I begin, when you get to under $50, you can start getting access to a quality budget paddle under $50.
So, one question you can check is what type of paddle they currently play with. You can ask them what type of paddle they use whether graphite, fiberglass, wood or carbon fiber.
If they are using anything but carbon fiber, I would consider snagging a great carbon budget paddle under $50 as I strongly believe carbon fiber is the best paddle material.
Men
1. Pickleball Hat
When I didn’t have my pickleball wristbands, I wish I had my hat.
A pickleball hat is another great gift option, especially for those who play outdoors. It’s lightweight, breathable, and helps keep the sun out of his eyes during games. Whether he’s playing in the heat of summer or just wants some extra shade, a good cap is a simple, functional gift that will be appreciated on sunny days.
These are my favorite three hats that I found, with Joola potentially being my top pick.
2. Pickleball Paddle Bag
I actually do not yet have a pickleball paddle bag, so a bag is at the top of my Christmas list in 2024.
In addition, it makes carrying around your equipment much more easy, and there are great options in the $25-$50 range.
Thus, a paddle bag is a thoughtful gift for any player who wants to keep his paddle in top condition. Pickleball paddles can wear out quickly without proper care, and a sturdy cover protects against scratches and damage. Plus, there are plenty of stylish designs to choose from, allowing him to carry his paddle in style while ensuring it lasts longer.
3. Pickleball Court Markers
I have multiple pickleball portable nets, but the most challenging thing sometimes is knowing where to draw the lines.
So, I have 2 different sets of pickleball court markers.
Thus pickleball court markers are a fun and practical gift for someone who loves to set up a game anywhere. These markers allow him to create a pickleball court in any open space, whether it’s a driveway, a gym, or a park. They’re easy to transport and set up, making it simple to enjoy a game of pickleball wherever he goes.

That said, you know this person best, so you may want to know if they would wear more fun earrings like this.
3. Performance pickleball gloves
You do not know how many times my hands have gotten so sweaty that it’s difficult to carry my paddle. I know this is TMI.
Pickleball gloves are a great gift. These gloves are designed to improve grip and provide better control during play, helping her maintain a firm hold on her paddle even during intense rallies. Plus, they add an extra layer of protection against blisters, making them both practical and performance-enhancing.

3. Pickleball strategy book

Whether they’re new to the game or seasoned players, a strategy guide can help them continue to grow and enjoy the sport even more.
