1. Value Paddle: PBVMURTG Carbon Fiber
It took me a while to find this, but I have to say, the best budget pickleball paddle I’ve come across has a pretty odd name: PBVMURTG. Strange name aside, it’s an incredible deal.
In fact, the PBVMURTG is one of the top Black Friday pickleball paddle deals right now.
I didn’t believe it myself until I tried it out. Just the other day, I was playing with a $200 paddle against a friend who’s probably in the 4.0 to 4.5 DUPR range. He crushed me in three straight games. But for game four, I switched to this PBVMURTG paddle and somehow won 11 to 3. I was blown away.
Here’s the kicker. This paddle is under $50 on Amazon. It’s not just any paddle either. It’s made of carbon fiber, comes with a paddle cover, grip tape, and even a carbon fiber cleaning bar. It feels like a steal.

2. Vatic Pro Prism Flash Pickleball Paddle
I recently tested the Vatic Pro Prism Flash 14mm and 16mm paddles side by side, along with my Six Zero Double Black Diamond. The results were eye-opening. I won close games with both Vatic Pro paddles, 12-10 with the 14mm and 11-9 with the 16mm. However, I lost badly with the Six Zero, 11-2, against the same opponent. This reinforced my belief that the Vatic Pro is the best pickleball paddle under $100 right now.

These paddles are my go-to for intermediate play, alongside my Hyperion Joola Ben Johns and Volair Forza 2. Surprisingly, I even prefer them over the Six Zero, which costs nearly $100 more.
In terms of performance, the 16mm paddle excels at control thanks to its thicker core, allowing the ball to absorb into the paddle for precise placement. The 14mm, on the other hand, shines in speed, spin, and power. Its lighter weight and thinner surface give it better aerodynamics, faster hand speed, and more spin potential, making it ideal for advanced players (4.0+).
Both paddles share the same sweet spot, ensuring consistency. Right now, the price is better on Amazon for Black Friday than using my coupon code.
3. Warping Point Ascent Pickleball Paddle
As a self-proclaimed pickleball paddle connoisseur, I recently got my hands on the Warping Point Ascent Control and Power paddles, and I was instantly intrigued. These paddles feature a unique design with a hole in the face meant to reduce air resistance, something I had never tried before.
For two recent sessions, I played exclusively with this paddle. Let me tell you, the Warping Point paddles did not disappoint.

Is the Bread and Butter Filth paddle truly filthy? Absolutely. But what does that mean? Let me dive into the look and, playability, and the Black Friday deal.
After loving Bread and Butter’s Fat Boy paddle, I was excited to try the Filth. I immediately appreciated its darker design, which hides wear and tear much better than lighter paddles. I had such a great experience with Warping Point’s Ascent control paddle that I was excited to try their new line, including power, balance, and control paddles.
