I have purchased ~30 pickleball paddles on Amazon (picture of my receipts here), so I decided it was time to write an article covering the best pickleball paddles on Amazon.

1. Best Budget Paddle on Amazon

The Doctor Pickleball Surgical T700 Carbon Fiber Control paddle is a fantastic value paddle you can purchase on Amazon.

I’ve really loved the control I get with this paddle. Last week, I wanted to test how effective it really is by playing a few games with a friend who has about a 4.0 DUPR rating.

In the first game, I used a cheap $10 Amazon pickleball paddle and lost 11-6. Not a great start.

For game two, I switched to an $80 Amazon carbon fiber weave paddle and barely scraped by with a 12-10 win.

Then, in game three, I pulled out my favorite paddle which I mentioned above: The Joola Ben Johns Hyperion CFS (which runs around $150-$200). That one felt better, and I won 11-8.

Finally, for game four, I tried this Doctor Surgical Control pickleball paddle, and had my best performance of the day. I won 11-3.

With this paddle, I felt completely in control of my shots. The gritty surface grips the ball well, and the 20mm thickness gives me the precision I need to place my shots exactly where I want them. Because it’s a thicker paddle, it does have a slightly thicker grip, so it may be best for medium to larger hands.

The paddle also receives impressive reviews on Amazon. For example, check out my favorite recent review from December 16th, 2025 where the reviewer mentioned that you don’t want to play with this paddle near other women if you’re married.

The paddle received 1 1-star review that it broke, but I have at least 2 of these paddles and never experienced anything like this. Plus, the paddle has a 30 day Amazon return policy even if this did happen.

2. Best Overall Amazon Pickleball Paddle

The best pickleball paddle on Amazon is the Ben Johns Joola Hyperion CFS 16mm as it is often priced below other paddles that do not command the same quality of this paddle.

Of all my ~70 pickleball paddles, this paddle has the best sweet spot, and pop.

This paddle is one of the first premium paddles I purchased after I found out that Ben Johns played with this paddle before moving to the new Perseus 3s.

Let me share what else makes it stand out:

• It has a perforated anti-slip ridge grip and an elongated handle, which really helps with shock absorption. I find it ideal for two-handed shots.

The Vatic Pro Prism Flash is one of my favorite paddles ever. In fact, I liked the paddle so much that I purchased both the Vatic Pro Prism Flash 14mm and 16mm paddle.

The 14mm provides an incredible amount of power, and the 16mm provides great control and spin. It’s just a very high quality paddle for under $100.

4. Second Runner-Up Budget Paddle

It took me a while to discover this Amazon paddle, but I found the best overall budget pickleball paddle. It’s from a brand with a pretty unusual name (PBVMURTG), but trust me that it’s an absolute steal.

You might think I’m exaggerating, but hear me out. Earlier this year, I played against a friend who’s solidly in the 4.0–4.5 DUPR range.

I used my $200 paddle for the first three games, and he crushed me every single time. Frustrated, I decided to switch things up and gave this PBVMURTG paddle a try in game four. To my surprise, I won 11-3. I was genuinely shocked at how much of a difference it made.

Here’s the kicker – the PBVMURTG paddle is currently priced under $50 on Amazon. What’s even crazier is that it’s made of carbon fiber, comes with a paddle cover, grip tape, and even a carbon fiber cleaning bar. It feels like a deal too good to be true. I just received this paddle recently, and it has quickly climbed to the rank of best super cheap pickleball paddle.

Firstly, this paddle was recently under $10, and it’s carbon fiber ad comes with a paddle cogver.

The paddle is actually a carbon fiber paddle, which I believe is the best pickleball paddle material. It also has a 4.6 rating on Amazon.

Let’s go through 3 things you really need to know.

A. Paddle often become unavailable quickly

I have seen this happen too many times. I find a great, inexpensive paddle, and share with my readers, only to find the same paddle unavailable.
