I previously tested the A11n portable pickleball net, and found that it was the best pickleball portable net in 2024 based on a combination of playability, setup, cost and durability.

As such, I was so ecstatic to get my hands on the A11n professional pickleball net, which is a step above the A11n portable pickleball net?

I had huge expectations based on my previous experience, so did it live up to the hype?

1000%

This net is insanely good.

I have a lot to write here, so let’s get started.

1. What I Loved About This Net

In summary, I love how easy it is to move this net around, thanks to the six caster wheels that lock in place. Whether I’m on an outdoor court or inside a gym, it’s quick and simple to maneuver. It’s great for places that host a lot of sports events.

The anti-sag feature is a big plus too. With the hand winch system, I can easily adjust the net tension to keep it tight and straight at all times.

The heavy-duty frame is super sturdy. It’s made of thick, rust-resistant metal with wide legs that have a bent design, so it stays stable even in windy weather. And if I need extra stability, I can fill the two included bags with sand.

Let’s get a bit deeper into the playability, setup, cost and durability.

Playability – How well does it work?

The best part of this net is the playability.

It really does feel like a professional pickleball net. You are able to tighten the net by cranking a lever on the side.

In addition, the ball can also travel under the net near the middle, so it’s easy to pick up stray balls.

I play most of my pickleball at my local athletics club with the permanent nets. Honestly, this pickleball net was so high quality that it felt similar to the nets I play with at my club.

Setup – How easy is it to setup and takedown?

Because this is a professional net, it required much more time to setup the pickleball. I would estimate that it would take 1 hour to 1.5 hours total to put up.

As my life has been quite lately, I set half of it up during the evening and then the other half another day.

In addition, this pickleball net has 6 wheels. Some of the other nets I’ve used have wheels, but they don’t feel high quality. These wheels feel very high quality, and made it so easy to move around the net after playing. You can also lock the wheel in place.

It was easy enough, and the instructions were well put together.

Cost – How affordable is it in relation to playability and setup

The A11n professional pickleball net is currently priced at $199.99. As many of my portable nets were around $100, this felt like a steal.

Why?

Because I plan to use this net much more often than many of my other nets. For example, I’ll mention later how I am storing this net because I am enjoying it so much.

Durability – Will it last?

Yes, I believe this net will last the test of time. It has a quality net, and the construction of the material is much more heavy duty than all my previous portable pickleball nets.

I will plan to write an update in 1-2 years to provide an update how this actually handles time.

2. Considerations

If you are playing this with this pickleball on the street, please be aware that this pickleball net is more difficult to setup and take down than the A11n portable pickleball net.

So yes, it is 100% better, but it is more difficult to setup and take down, but you may want to take that into consideration.

That said, I loved the net so much that I cleaned out the side of my house to store it there because it was that good.

It made me want to clean out the side of the house. 🙂

3. Conclusion: Is This Professional Portable Net Worth It?

I loved this professional pickleball net as it had some many features, and it’s playability was off the charts.

Plus, the net is regulation size, so I don’t have to worry about that. It meets all the official pickleball guidelines.

And for peace of mind, there’s a 12-month warranty on the posts and a 6-month warranty on the net, with a support team ready to help if anything goes wrong.
